Glistening Water, LLC was created to be a community where people can be creative without the stress and overwhelm of being perfect. I started my company when I discovered Chalk Couture and began created crafts using their high quality reusable silk screen transfers (or “stencils”). It is a DIY’ers dream to be able to personalize and create customized home decor. My favorite thing is to upcycle and give a second life to items with history and character.

The Backstory; where Gail meets Chalk Couture…and Glistening Water was born.
The creation of this company began with my introduction to Chalk Couture. I was at a Cricut retreat in Orlando and one of the activities was creating a little sign on a canvas. The designer (that is C.C. lingo for peeps who are making magic ) was showing us the "transfer" and all the magic this silk screen adhesive stencil could do. Ken , (who is a rockstar in the crafting world, and it was his YouTube recommendation that convinced me to buy a Cricut) mentioned that Chalk Couture had fabulous snowflake transfers and I my curiosity was peaked .
Upcycling
My internal void has been filled with all the creative possibilities with Chalk Couture and upcycling thrift store and roadside finds. This venture is the perfect balance between my love of physical exercise and crafting. The upcycling aspect feeds my desire to do my part for the environment and the `back to the simple life' mindset.
What is Chalk Couture?
Chalk Couture is a high end DIY home decor company that began 2017. The products are easy to use and create beautiful images. Silk screen reusable adhesive transfers along with washable non toxic pastes create home decor that can create amazing custom decor. Our inks can be used on fabrics and non porous items for a permanent option.
The products can be purchased from the website or through me. Maybe become a designer as a hobbyist or to build a business...choice is yours.
My take on Chalk Couture (CC)...The CC surfaces are mostly reusable which can be changed out for each holiday or celebration...cuts down on storing seasonal decor.
Customize the decor colors to suit your personal style. Mix and match transfers to create a home that is yours alone. Create personalized gifts that are truly gifts from your hands and heart.
On the biz side, for those who may want to become designers. You get the freedom to run your biz with very little constraints from corporate. There is fabulous training and back office support. I am fortunate to have an incredibly strong upline who are supportive and so very hard working. The compensation program is very generous and the are very obtainable rewards for those who work the business.
